Indeed, I got to spend 6 hours in ER last night (after my doctor called up on a SUNDAY to tell me to head down to ER to get checked out) while they debated whether or not to give me the transfusion.

Having never having to go to a hospital for anything besides being born (and being a usually very healthy person) being in ER was a very unpleasant experience.

Yes, It certainly seems like it would. Apparently I have it pretty bad. I was on the border of getting a blood transfusion.

so…..apparently (after a very, very long evening) a belief I have been harboring for some time has been proven true. I apparently have iron deficiency anemia.

Hopefully taking Iron supplements and changing my diet up will improve my overall physical state.

I know everyone and their mother has probably reposted this link already but, please please please read this. It’s really the most accurate and straightforward description of depression I’ve ever read

Especially the part with the dead fish

A lot of people who don’t really understand depression reduce it to simply just “being sad a lot”, when it’s actually much more than that. If I could try and boil it a single phrase it’d be more like “long periods of intense apathy punctuated by feelings of helplessness”. It’s not about just feeling sad, it’s more or less about not… really feeling anything. All while still trying to deal with going about day-to-day life and holding tight to whatever sort of distractions you can manage to care about enough to find, just to keep yourself from thinking about it too much.

Whovians always talk about how Donna was best friend to the Doctor or how he loved Rose. They talk about how his relationship with Craig is so special. But it makes me sad, they are forgetting one very precious person to the Doctor. I guess it’s because not many Whovians these days saw classic series, I am actually almost sure of it. Because if they knew the Brigadier, this scene from The Wedding of The River Song would become probably the saddest or at least one of the saddest moments in whole Doctor Who. So let me tell you a story now. It will take just a few minutes, probably less.

Years ago, in classic series, in time when companions didn’t have to be super mysteriously special, in time when with the Doctor traveled completely ordinary people, who were also capable of doing great things without destiny or mysterious backround, in that time, the Doctor met probably the best companion, who actually never traveled with him. But he was there. Every time when Doctor was on Earth, even when he was trapped here, the Brigadier was there. He saw most of the Doctor’s regenerations if not all of them and all incarnations of the Doctor attended his funeral, which means, he probably knew about Brigadier’s death much sooner, but still the information right in that moment made him give up, stop running and go to die. I guess, even if he knew, he still somewhere deep inside believed, that the Brigadier will stay. That he won’t leave the Doctor alone…
